ASN Bank's sustainability policy is set out in policy documents. These provide practical tools for making decisions about our investments and financing.

Sustainability research
We investigate whether countries, organizations and companies meet the sustainability criteria. This research process is described in a manual.

Policy documents per pillar
For each pillar of the sustainability policy – ​​human rights, climate and biodiversity – there is a policy document.

Policy documents on sectors and sustainable topics
The sustainability criteria for human rights, climate and biodiversity have a different impact on different sectors. That is why we have further elaborated these pillars for various sectors, available in Dutch only. We also have policies on other topics that we consider important.

In our daily actions and relationships with suppliers, business partners, customers and society, we adhere to internationally recognised guidelines.

We have signed the ten principles of the UN Global Compact and comply with the standards of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the OECD. Our integrated annual report provides a comprehensive summary of our progress.

In the context of Corporate Responsibility we are also part of knowledge networks and actively engage with partners, NGOs and society. We can thus share our knowledge and ideas and learn from other companies and partners.

We are held to comply with different codes, such as the Banking Code and the Dutch Corporate Governance Code.
